A musical tale of lost dreams
and the magic of second chances.
A powerful producer derails a young girl's promising music career, and she spends the next 50 years waiting tables. When the producer dies he is barred from heaven. To gain entrance he must, with a little help from the Universe, rewind time and help her become the star she was born to be… and save his own soul.

A savvy, self-serving British music producer. He also happens to be recently deceased.
TOMMY
A man-child. He clings to his former glory as lead singer for a now defunct heavy metal band.
MARK
A transplanted Chicago folk singer. Once a big fish in a small pond, he now feels like a musical minnow.
RAM
A musical whiz-kid. He is fearless, unencumbered by self-doubt or, for that matter, any self-knowing whatsoever.
GINA
A waitress who appears confident and outgoing, but she’s hiding from an unshakeable past.
COOKIE
An ambitious intern at Sire Records who’s frustrated by her low-level desk job.
DARCY
A quirky teenage singer/songwriter from Nashville. Beneath her sassy exterior lies a knowing old soul.

REWIND takes place in 1985, when this audience’s musical and cultural tastes were being formed. With the current resurgent interest in all things 80s, that demographic widens to include every age group.
